Founded in 1996, Choptank Excavating started as a small operation, focusing on residential projects and local contracting work. As demand grew, so did our capabilities. The challenges of the 2006–2008 recession pushed us to expand into commercial site work, a decision that laid the groundwork for the company’s future. In 2004, we further diversified by launching Choptank Supply to support our growing operations and the needs of the surrounding community. Today, we proudly serve all counties on the Eastern Shore, providing essential excavation, site development, and material services.
